Troubleshooting App Picker Issues
Known Issue with Apple's Screen Time API
Although this feature usually works as intended, the Achieve application may freeze or crash when you:
- Select the "Other" category
- Browse multiple open categories for specific apps/websites to block
Unfortunately, this is a known issue with Apple's Screen Time API. We have escalated this to Apple and are awaiting a resolution in a future iOS update.
What can I do if the app picker screen is crashing?
- 1Close any categories that you've left open while searching.
- 2Try typing a single letter in the "Search" bar.
- 3Type the name of the app/website in another app and paste it into the "Search" bar.
- 4Force close Achieve, check for OS and app updates, and try again.
- 5As a last resort, delete and reinstall Achieve (Note: Create an account first to save your progress).
